Refund Policy

Nuyu Counseling Center

Nuyu Counseling Center values transparency and fairness regarding fees and payments. This Refund Policy outlines how payments and refunds are handled.

Therapy Services

Payment for therapy services is due at the time services are rendered unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. Once a therapy session has taken place, fees for that session are non-refundable.

Cancellations and Missed Appointments

If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, we require at least [insert notice period, e.g., 24 or 48 hours] advance notice.

Appointments canceled with sufficient notice will not be charged.
Late cancellations or missed appointments may be subject to a full session fee and are generally non-refundable.

Prepaid Sessions and Packages

If you purchase prepaid sessions or service packages:

Unused sessions may be eligible for a refund at the discretion of Nuyu Counseling Center.
Any refunded amount may be reduced by the cost of sessions already provided or administrative fees, where applicable.

Telehealth Services

Telehealth sessions are subject to the same cancellation and refund policies as in-person sessions. Technical issues must be communicated as soon as possible to be considered for rescheduling or refund.

Insurance and Third-Party Payments

Refunds related to insurance claims are subject to the policies of the insurance provider. Any overpayments made directly by the client will be refunded once insurance processing is complete.

Administrative Fees

Certain administrative fees, including but not limited to paperwork preparation, court-related services, or letters, are non-refundable once work has begun.

How Refunds Are Issued

Approved refunds will be issued using the original form of payment unless otherwise required by law. Processing times may vary.

Changes to This Policy

Nuyu Counseling Center reserves the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Updates will be posted on this website.
